I may have mentioned that my Sister Dear is a budding (not to mention talented and gorgeous) actress. And if I haven't: My Sister Dear is talented and gorgeous and will one day win the hearts of all via stage and screen. Anywho, to wish her luck for her recent cabaret I made this little creature:
Yes, this is what I was aiming for when I ended up with Blue Totoro.
Sister Dear has named him Flip, which I find entirely appropriate, and has taken to carrying him around in her pocket since he is so teeny, tiny and pocket sized. In fact, the above picture shows Flip a great deal bigger than he actually is...
That is about real size, next to some sherry glasses. Isn't he adorable? Well, Sister Dear and I think so :)
I hope he brings you lots of luck, dearest Sister Dear!!
Say "Sister Dear" some more! haha!
ReplyDeleteI like this one even more than Blue Totoro. Altho, I'm sure most would like Totoros pudgy belly! haha
I'm pretty sure I could slip it in a few more times... Oh dear, as soon as I finished typing that sentence I commented to myself "Said the bishop to the actress"!
ReplyDeleteMy favourite toy is still yet to feature on the blog (mostly as he is still in bits in my sewing bag) but when I look at Flip, all I can think is how hard he was to sew cos he was sooo freaking tiny!!
